Thirteen time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC received an invitation from Burundian side Aigle Noir SC to play a match for the opening of their stadium, the Nkurunziza Peace Park Complex.
The Lugogo side will take part in the Nkurunziza Cup which will be happening for the second time in commemoration of Pierre Nkurunziza, the fallen president of Burundi.
The above will act as the end of season tour for the Lugogo based side and they will travel and camp in Burundi for five days, between June 22 to June 27.
KCCA finished second in the 2021/22 league season with 18 points behind StarTimes Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC.
After the disappointing campaign, they had taken a break but have now regrouped to compete favorably in the Cup.
