KCCA Women Volleyball Club clinched the 2025 National Club Championship title after defeating Sport-S in straight sets (3–0) in Sunday’s final at Pece Primary and Secondary School Grounds in Gulu.

The two-day tournament, held from October 4–5, brought together Uganda’s top volleyball clubs for a weekend of high-level competition, despite rain delays on Saturday.

KCCA dominated from start to finish, sweeping Nemo Stars 3–0 in the quarterfinals, brushing aside VVC 3–0 in the semifinals, and sealing the championship without dropping a single set. Their teamwork, composure, and precision set them apart throughout the tournament.

Sport-S, who battled past KCB Nkumba 3–2 in a tense semifinal, gave their all in the final but couldn’t keep up with KCCA’s relentless pace and sharp execution.

In earlier matches, KCB Nkumba had defeated Sport-S B 3–0, Sport-S A eased past Seroma 3–0, KCCA blanked Nemo Stars 3–0, and VVC overcame St. Charles 3–0.

Meanwhile, in the men’s category, KCCA will meet Nemostars in the final in Kampala after both sides advanced with identical 3–1 semifinal wins, KCCA over Sport-S and Nemostars against UCU.
