Kenya Police Bullets to snub another Uganda star

Kenya Police Bullets are once again turning to Ugandan talent, with Crested Cranes goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro on the verge of joining the reigning Kenyan champions in the January transfer window.

Talks between the two parties are understood to be at an advanced stage, as the Bullets look to strengthen their squad with one of the region’s most accomplished goalkeepers.

If completed, the move would see another top Ugandan player head to Nairobi, further highlighting the club’s growing trust in Ugandan quality.

Nakaziro has been without a club since leaving Kampala Queens at the end of the 2024–25 season, despite featuring for them in the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League.

Her experience and availability have made her a prime target, and the Bullets have moved quickly.

Regarded as the most decorated goalkeeper in Ugandan women’s football, Nakaziro brings a proven winning pedigree.

She was instrumental in Kampala Queens’ title-winning season, setting a league record with 15 clean sheets to earn the Golden Glove.

She would become the fourth Ugandan at Kenya Police Bullets, joining Zainah Namuleme, Margret Kunihira and Desire Katisi Natooro, and adding to the club’s strong Ugandan presence.

The timing is key. The Bullets sit third on the table with 19 points from nine matches, just one point behind leaders Ulinzi Starlets with a game in hand.
