Well well, we are back with Part 3 of the Nnalubaale Sports 2023 Rugby Awards with the best rugby venue.
What a difference a year makes! This one goes out to Kings’ Park Arena. We know you want to say that both the KOBs and Pirates own this venue, but that is not the core of this segment.
The Kings’ Park Arena is home to double Champions: Premiership and National Sevens winners, the Stanbic Black Pirates.
Ugandan rugby had long docked in Lugogo, with a few splashes of tryouts from Entebbe, Jinja, and Makerere. We can confidently say that Bweyogerere has given Ugandan rugby a new, solid home.
Massa and Nathan just need to ensure disposable cups are many, so people stop volunteering to help them count and just come for the rugby party.
It takes a special place and special events to get the dynamic lawyer duo of Raymond Ogwang and Edwin Nyigovic Buluma to forget banter. You see where this is going. All hail Mercilina and Abaasa.
FYI: Uganda has NEVER lost to Kenya at the Kings Park Arena. You can take that to the bank. Thank you, Ivan Magomu.
