The Warriors have eclipsed the Elgon Wolves in a semi-final rematch to advance to the playoff finale.

Kinyai grabbed a hat-trick of tries, adding two conversions and a couple of penalties to his tally for the evening.

Owing to the result, Warriors will now play the Kitante Eagles at Legends in a week to determine who’ll make it to the Premiership next season.

The game between Wolves and Warriors was replayed after the URU ruled in the favour of the Warriors in their petition against the Wolves for fielding an illegitimate player.

Warriors were relegated after the 2022 season and have had to endure midday rugby in the Central Championship this year.

Next Saturday presents a chance for them to rectify that against young stubborn Eagles who run the entire full-time.
