Kitara Football Club has sealed a UGX 100 million shirt sponsorship deal with Kinyara Sugar Ltd, a boost that strengthens the club’s rise both on and off the pitch.
The partnership was unveiled Wednesday at the company’s Masindi headquarters, drawing excitement from football and business circles alike.
Company CEO Ramalingam Ravi said the deal reflects the company’s commitment to community development through sport.
“We proudly support sports and are pleased to renew our sponsorship to Kitara FC, the Uganda Cup winners,” he said.
Under the agreement, Kinyara’s logo will appear on Kitara’s training and matchday jerseys, alongside branding rights at home fixtures, joint press conferences, and wider fan engagement campaigns.
Kitara CEO Atugonza Joshua praised the renewed partnership, noting its role in the club’s growth.
“This support since 2023/24 helped us clinch the Uganda Cup,” Atugonza said.
“This new deal strengthens our journey as we aim higher in Ugandan football.”
Kitara have already played a game in the new league format drawing 1-1 with KCCA in Butema and will hope to build on this before their much anticipated game on Saturday against Vipers at Namboole Stadium.
