JT Lady Jaguars were yet again at their absolute best as they thrashed Angels 63-30 in the Ladies’ category of the National Basketball League on Friday.
The result at the MTN Arena Lugogo took the Jaguars to four wins in succession, a strong show for a newly promoted side. They are now 4-1 for the season.
The Jaguars showed their might right from the start, leading 13-8 by the first quarter before they eventually won by a 33-point difference.
They were powered by a strong display from Zainah Lokwameri who managed 21 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
She was complemented by Sarah Ageno and Moureen Amoding who both managed double figures, on an evening to remember.
On the other hand, the Angels are yet to win a single game this season, losing each of the three they have played.
While the Jaguars will take on the Miracle Ravens in their next fixture, Angels will battle it out with the Magic Stormers hoping to turn fortunes around.
