As the Hamz Cup for service providers based on Public and Private entities meeting in the field of play, Iteka Services football team is returning to continue its unbeaten run against Ggaba Taxi at round of 32.
The game is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 27 at Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo War Memorial at 4:00 pm.
At the group stage, the travel company played four games, won three, and drew once to reach this stage.
Team Captain Aaron Tunga, Striker Trevor Irakoze, Perfect Muza, and Babalao played key roles in group stage matches, and they are in the right situation to continue.
Speaking on the team’s progress, Manager Eddy Claud Mushinga-Ntahe remarkably stated,
“It is a pleasure that the team is growing. We founded it in 2023 from Iteka Services Buses Limited.” he said
We are not just here to play, but we are also on an agenda of joining association football, joining much more organized football, and starting the journey to reach the Uganda top flight.” Ntare concluded
The travel company is looking to join teams like Mutaasa Kafeero, Arrows, and others at round of 16 of the competition in its first edition.
