After the Wakiso Zone group stage, in the Round of 16, Madina Islamic Nsangi Katereke and St James Buddo are to meet again, as they did in the final of the USSSA Nsangi district.

That time, St James won the tournament. This time, the situation is expected to be tough as both teams are aiming to reach the USSSA Boys football Nationals with only two games remaining.

To set up the match, Madina Islamic led Group F with 10 points from five games, while St James finished second in Group E with seven points from five games. On the other side, Standard High Zana will play against Emirates College Nkoowe.

In other sports, Wakiso Zone champions St Mary’s Kitende, after leading Group A with nine points from three matches, will play Entebbe Parents who finished second in Group B with 11 points.

London College Nansana, led by Gerald Katamba, dropped to Kasanje High School, who finished second in Group A, despite being caught using unqualified players to play against USSSA schools.

Greenlight Islamic, seeking a re-election following their first 16-team tournament, will play Boston High School.

Zana Mixed will play Kyadondo SS, Kakungulu High School will play Aiden College Ndejje, while Uganda Schools Football Champions Buddo SS will play Kasule High School, as all the fixtures are scheduled for April 11.
