National Ludo Super League action returned with match day 18 at National Hockey Stadium in Lugogo on Sunday.

Masaka Giants on 31 points maintained their grip at the top of the log despite losing 3-1 to Nansana All Stars.

Nasansa Galaxy and Kireka Kisansa settled for a 2-2 draw as Kazo Hill Club and Buloba A settled for the same scores.

Buyende United lost 1-3 to Ntinda United, Basajja Bayiiya pipped Nakawa Market 3-1 as Busega Market defeated Kings 3-1 in the other fixture.

The National Ludo Super League will return on the 2nd of October 2022 with match day 19 on the menu.

On a low note, the trip for Uganda Doves, the national side comprising of 11 players that were selected for the 2022 Africa Ludo Championship is hanging in balance.

The financial crisis was revealed by Hussein Kalule, the federation president during the dicing off of the national league at Lugogo Hockey grounds on Sunday claiming National Council of Sports is yet to come to their rescue.

Uganda Doves is slated to depart for the championship in Pretoria, South Africa at the end of September to defend their title which they won last year in Dubai.
