Buweekula continued the blast with a third consecutive big win in the Masaza Cup, hammering Buvuma 3-0 at Magyo Ssaza ground on Saturday, July 26.
Jimmy Kalema scored his fifth of the campaign, all coming in the last three games, Shafiq Ssonko and Samuel Lukoye added the other goals to seal the victory.
It is also the second consecutive victory for Buweekula while they are away from their home; in their last outing, they defeated Kyadondo 2-1.
Now Buweekula is 3 points clear on top of the Masengere group after 5 games, played one more ahead of chaser Mawokota, who play on Sunday against Kyadondo.
In the other game of the Buganda Masaza Cup played at Baakijululu on Saturday, July 26, Ssese also secured their third victory of the campaign after beating Busujju 1-0.
Kavin Mwambu scored the goal that forced Busujju to their first loss of the season, seeing Ssese go to the top of the Bulange group with 9 points after five games.
Following this, Busujju dropped to second place, and they are likely to drop again to third place according to the results which shall come from Buddu and Buluuli game on Sunday, July 27.
