The 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup quarterfinals have been rescheduled, with the first leg now set for Sunday, September 28th, a day later than the original date. The second leg has also been moved from October 4th to Sunday, October 5th. However, one of the games in the return leg—Ssese vs. Kyaggwe—will still be played on the original date of Saturday, October 4th.

Stadium and Transfer Market Updates
In addition to the schedule changes, Hajj Ssejjengo has issued a warning to the competing teams: they must repair their football playgrounds to meet the required standards for the quarterfinals. Teams that fail to do so will be forced to find a new venue or risk having the committee find one for them.
Ssejjengo also confirmed that a player transfer window is now open for all teams in the quarterfinals, allowing them to strengthen their squads. The transfer market will be active from September 11th until September 19th.
This 2025 Buganda Masaza Cup season continues to build excitement as the top teams prepare to battle for a spot in the semifinals.
