Masaza Cup: Ssingo back in semis as only champion at this stage

With the Plascon Sponsored Masaza Cup still underway with the 2025 Season, Ssingo have once again advanced to the semifinals after defeating Mawokoto 1-0.

In the match played at the Mityana Ssaza Ground on October 5, captain Shaban Kayongo scored the decisive goal of the game.

After two Quarterfinals games, Ssingo won 1-0 on aggregate after the first leg went 0-0.

Now Ssingo, in the 2025 semifinals, will face Bugerere in a match expected to take place on 12 October.

Bugerere beat Buluuli 3-2 on aggregate to reach the semifinals after using the first leg advantage.

On the other hand, Buweekula also reached the 2025 Semifinals after missing out in the past two seasons since they lost in the 2022 final.

Buweekula advanced 2-1 on aggregate following a 1-1 draw played at Mubende NTC following a 1-0 win last week.

Buweekula joins Kyaggwe in the semifinals as they will face off in the double encounters to decide which team will play in the final at Nakivubo Stadium.
