The Plascon Sponsored, Buganda Masaza Cup is up for semifinals second leg with Ssingo and Kyaggwe at home to capitalize on the first leg advantages, gained from away.
Ssingo at Mityana Ssaza grounds are hosting Bugerere who they beat 2-1 while visiting the Kayunga based county at the Ntenjeru Ssaza grounds on Sunday, October 12, in the first leg.
Going into the reverse fixture, Ssingo remains with a full house as the entire squad is fit for the clash on Sunday, October 19, with Captain Shaban Kayongo continuing to get back his form, leading the line and scoring in the last two games.
Ssingo already has an extra source of strength, with a well-balanced team including Ismail Lwamitala, Francis Ogwang and Elvis Ssekajugo doing it all in the Midfield.
Extensively, Ssingo will rely so much on goalkeeper Joel Byamukama, probably the best Goalkeeper in this year’s competition and more additionally, their defense is also safe in the hands of Jackson Ssembatya and the entire back line.
On the other side, Bugerere is facing an unbearable test, despite having most of the squad available, but Henry Wamala remains Doubtful with a minor injury picked up while featuring for Express FC against URA FC on Thursday.
The rest of the Bugerere squad seems to be well, though Osman Mayanja will have to carry the major responsibility of scoring goals for Bugerere.
In the first leg, he missed a penalty, an action which might have put him under pressure, if his mind was not nursed well, action might go left.
With a 2-1 advantage at hand, Ssingo, under Bashir Bastu Ssemuyaba, only needs to avoid being defeated by Mike Skills Lukyamuzi’s coached Bugerere.
Whereas, on the other hand, for Bugerere to reach their first final since 2007, they need to beat Ssingo by a 2-goal margin.
Meanwhile, Kyaggwe in the other game is also in an advantageous position to advance to the final slated for November 1st, 2025, at Hamz Stadium Nakivubo for the first time in 12 years.

Kyaggwe is at home Mukono Bishops hosting Buweekula, whom they visited and beat 1-0 in Mubende last Sunday.
All teams are reported to be in good shape for the clash, with Buweekula having the biggest issue to prove, while Kyaggwe can only do the needful with only maintenance in the game.
