- Strikers 109/10 in 20 Overs (Robinson Obuya 41, Yunus Sowobi 15; Siraje Nsubuga 2/14, Simon Oketcho 2/18)
- Titans 70/6 in 20 Overs (Fred Achelam 23*, Oketcho 13; Hassan Bagaga 2/13)
Strikers won by 39 runs
Strikers opened the second week of the Batball MAXX T20 Challenge Cup in style, cruising to a 39 run victory over Titans on Monday morning (Day 9) at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe to register their third win of the tournament.
After winning the toss, Titans captain Fred Achelam chose to bowl, a move that paid early dividends as Strikers lost wickets at regular intervals.

But Robinson Obuya held the innings together with a calm and well timed 41 off 29 balls, striking three fours and a six to give his side a fighting total.
Hassan Bagaga and Robert Ajuna fell cheaply, while brief cameos from Fortunate Alijuna (11) and Yunus Sowobi (15) added some momentum.
Titans’ bowlers kept things tight, with Simon Oketcho and Siraje Nsubuga picking up two wickets apiece as Strikers were restricted to 109 for 8 in their 20 overs.
Titans’ chase never truly got going. Bagaga returned to haunt them with the ball, removing Jaffer Ochaya and Conrad Lubwama in a probing opening spell that left the Titans reeling early.
Achelam battled on to finish unbeaten on 23, but with little support and the asking rate rising, the chase fizzled out. Titans closed on 70 for 6, well short of their target.
Bagaga capped a fine all round showing with two wickets, while Yunus Sowobi, Tendo Rayan, Fortunate Alijuna and Ssenyondo Henry each chipped in as Strikers tightened their grip.
The win moves Strikers up to third on the standings, while Titans remain rooted at the bottom.
Action continues later in the day, with Royals facing Gladiators at 2:00pm at the Lakeside Oval.
