Titans won by 4 wickets
Titans claimed their second win of the campaign on Friday morning, holding their nerve to chase down Royals by four wickets at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe.
Royals captain Cyrus Kakuru won the toss and chose to bat, but his side struggled against a disciplined Titans bowling attack.
Openers Perry Wazombe and Jonathan Ssebanja fell early, Ssebanja bowled by Jordan Okecho for six, and Wazombe caught off Siraje Nsubuga for 15.

Calvin Watuwa’s quick nine briefly lifted the innings, but Nsubuga struck again, and Kakuru was dismissed for just two.
Richard Sohera and Jonathan Nyiiro then steadied Royals with an unbeaten partnership.
Sohera scored 23 off 31 balls, while Nyiiro added a lively 29 off 20, including a six and a four, guiding Royals to 91 for 4 in 15 overs. Nsubuga finished with 2 for 3, while Okecho and Jaffer Ochaya took one wicket each.

Chasing 92, Titans began confidently. Amos Ahura contributed 27 off 25 before falling lbw to Ali Balidawa.
Conrad Lubwama’s quick nine from five balls pushed the chase forward, though Royals struck back with timely wickets.
The chase wobbled at 68 for 5 after Ronald Magezi was run out and Simon Oketcho bowled by Sohera, who later removed Geofrey Kakaire for a duck.
Titans regrouped as Ismail Munir and Siraje Nsubuga steadied the innings. Even after Nsubuga’s run out, Titans remained in control.
Captain Fred Achelam sealed the win with a six off his first ball, taking Titans to 95 for 6 in 14.5 overs, finishing with seven balls to spare. Sohera’s 2 for 10 offered Royals hope, but Titans’ depth proved decisive.
Action continues this afternoon as Strikers take on Warriors at 2:00 PM.
