Head Coach Hussein Mbalangu has today, Thursday, November 6, taken to his personal platform to issue a statement regarding the ended relationship.

“OFFICIAL STATEMENT

After thoughtful discussions, NEC FC and I have mutually agreed to bring our working relationship to an end.

I wish to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the club’s management, technical team, players, and the entire NEC FC family for the incredible journey we have shared over the past two years. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as Head Coach of this great club.

Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated victories, and built memories that I will always hold dear. I am especially grateful to the players for their hard work and commitment, to the management for their trust and support, and to our loyal fans and diehards for their unwavering passion and belief in the team. You have been the heartbeat of everything we accomplished.

Though my time at NEC FC has come to an end, I leave with immense pride in what we achieved together and full respect for everyone associated with the club. I wish NEC FC continued success in all its future endeavors.

This is not goodbye — just see you soon.

With gratitude and respect,

Hussein Mbalangu
