Mengo City Women and Entebbe Cheetahs Women will contest the 2026 Women’s Futsal Uganda Cup final after winning their respective semifinals on Friday at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Mengo City secured their place with a 3–1 victory over Nansana ASKA Women in a controlled performance across the two 20-minute halves.

The Kampala side started the brighter of the two teams and went ahead in the 8th minute when Angel Nakitto finished calmly to open the scoring. ASKA, however, responded well and drew level five minutes later through Ramla Nalwanga, who took advantage of space to make it 1–1 in the 13th minute.

The match remained competitive, but Mengo restored their lead before the break. Ruth Monica struck in the 16th minute to put her side back in front and give them a 2–1 advantage heading into halftime.

After the restart, Mengo controlled the tempo and limited ASKA’s attacking opportunities while looking dangerous on the counter. Their advantage was confirmed in the 32nd minute when Nakitto completed her brace, sealing a 3–1 win and sending Mengo into the final.

In the other semifinal, Entebbe Cheetahs Women had to rely on penalties to overcome Kisenyi Ladies after a thrilling 2–2 draw in regulation time.

Entebbe made a strong start and took the lead early in the contest when Hilda Nankya scored in the 5th minute to give the Cheetahs the advantage.

Kisenyi settled into the match as the half progressed and found the equalizer in the 18th minute through Leila Nassuna, whose composed finish ensured the sides went into the break level.

The second half produced more twists. Nassuna struck again in the 32nd minute to complete her brace and give Kisenyi the lead for the first time in the game.

However, Entebbe refused to give up and quickly responded. Rukia Nabusooke found the net in the 34th minute to level the match at 2–2 and force the contest to penalties.

In the shootout, the Cheetahs kept their composure, converting three spot kicks while Kisenyi managed two, earning Entebbe a 3–2 penalty victory and a place in the final.
