Futsal Uganda Cup has reached the final stage with Mengo City and neighbours Kisenyi FC meeting on the stage.
Mengo City outwashed Kabuusu Clouds 4-1 in the Semifinal played at the Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Monday, 19th May 2025.
In the game, AbdulKarim Tebera opened the score in the 8th minute of the game with an assist from Ian Tugume.
Four minutes later, Akram Ssali doubled the lead with the captain Anthony Male assisting and two minutes after, Ssali set up Tebera for a third goal.
At half time, Mengo City was leading 3-0 and continued to win 4-1 with Ian Tugume joining the score sheet before Uthuman Male pulling a consolation.
In the other Semifinal, Kisenyi FC eliminated holder Park FC via penalties 5-3 after playing in a 2 all draw.
In the game, Kisenyi FC was chasing from behind on two occasions after Derrick Walugembe and Michael Abura put Park FC in the lead.
Sharp-shooter Ilyas Omran levelled by cancelling Walugembe’s goal and Joshua Aziku scored in his own goal after deflecting Bashir Waleed’s shot to bring back Kisenyi FC with two minutes remaining.
From the forty minutes of the normal play, the game directly went into shootouts, where Kisenyi FC won on penalties to progress to the final.

The Futsal Uganda Cup final will take place on 30th May at Old Kampala Futsal Arena between league champions and Kisenyi FC.
The final got changed from 23rd to 30th May as a result of Kisenyi FC being in both the Frenzy Edition final and the Uganda Cup final, which was scheduled on the same day.
