“I am very excited to join Uganda Cricket Association, this is out of my comfort zone working with a sports entity but I am eager to use my skills and experience to take Uganda Cricket to the next level. Uganda Cricket Association is very ambitious and together we should be able to do amazing things,” Alan Mugume the new CEO Uganda Cricket Association noted.

Allan will oversee all strategic and business aspects of the Association, taking action to enhance the association’s cash flow, public relations, culture and performance.

“I believe we have grown the game to a point where Mugume’s background in finance management and investment will be a big asset. He comes from a business and investment background and I hope that commercialising the game will be a top priority on his part and growing the standards of governance further with his experience,” Alvin Bagaya Mboijana the Secretary Uganda Cricket Association explained.

The new CEO takes over the office at a critical time when UCA are looking to take the game to every corner of the country on top of having national teams involved in various international competitions that are key in global rankings.
