Ashraf Mutaasa and Owen Kibira are set to reignite their rivalry in Week 9 of the Uganda Boxing Champions League. The highly anticipated rematch will take place at Club Obligato and is sure to thrill fans.

Mutaasa and Kibira previously faced off in the National Open, with Kibira emerging victorious. However, Mutaasa has since made significant strides in his boxing skills.

His impressive win over Broline Kimbugwe (Stylist), the reigning best boxer in the weight class, has boosted his confidence and prepared him for another challenge against Kibira.

Ahead of the fight, Mutaasa expressed his determination to secure a win. “This is my best chance to prove myself,” he said. “It’s important for me and my fans to come out on top. I know Owen is a skilled fighter, but I’m well-prepared and ready to give it my all.”

Kibira, on the other hand, has showcased his power in recent matches, most notably his quick knockout against an opponent in just 57 seconds.
