Mutoola win twice to go top of Beach Soccer Super League table

Mutoola Beach beat MS Sand Lions and Wolves to reach 40 Points to go top of the Uganda Beach Soccer Super League.

Both wins came on Sunday, 1st June 2025 at Bamboo Gardens Beach Soccer Arena in Kasanje, the home of Beach Soccer games this season.

At first, Mutoola Beach defeated Makindye Ssabagabo Sand Lions 5-2. Oscar Ssendege scored a hat trick, Swaib Kakwaya bagged a brace, and Yusuf Joloba netted twice for the losing side.

Late on the day, Mutoola Beach returned to action to overcome Wolves 4-3 in the game that went in three minutes of Extra time to decide the winner.

In the game, league top scorer Paul Nsenge scored twice to take his goal tally to 22. Simon Peter Kijjo and Oscar Ssendege was the other players to score for Mutoola Beach while Matia Olumu and Timothy Ejuga scored for Wolves.

With those wins, Mutoola Beach is leading the league chess with 40 points after 17 games, MUBs dropped to second with 38 points and Kampala City is sitting after beating Wolves 8-5 on Sunday.

In Other games, St Lawrence University looked to revive their season with two wins, beating Buganda Royal 4-0 and Mengo Hill 6-3.

Buganda Royal also won one game by beating Mengo Hill 4-3 as Mengo Hill and Wolves walked off the weekend without a single win after both losing twice on the day.
