Mutungo FC set for Kampala Regional League kickoff against Water FC

Following the Kampala Regional League double header where Mbogo FC beat Kisugu United 2-0 while Proline FC drew 1-1 with Lufula FC, Mutungo FC is now set to visit Water FC at UICT Nakawa.

Going into the game tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, Mutungo FC will miss new signings Dickson Wasswa and Robert Okello through injuries.

Meanwhile, Captain Aaron Junior Musiima, Goalkeeper Stuart Matovu, and Forward Talib Yakole will be available to offer support for the team.

The teams have previously met on two occasions back in 2023-2024, with Mutungo FC holding a better head-to-head record with a 1-0 win and a 0-0 draw.

Under Coach Bernard Kazira, Mutungo FC will continue to chase FUFA Big League qualification despite the expected much competition from the likes of Mbogo FC, Proline FC, Lungujja Galaxy, and Nsambya Sports Club.

The Mutungo game will not be the only game on the day; it will be among the six games that will take place at 4:00 PM at different venues to seal the Kampala Regional League week 1.
