Naiga stars as Uganda Women are crowned African Pool champions

Uganda’s women’s national pool team have made history after storming to the African title with a stunning 13–1 victory over Namibia in the final.

It was total dominance from start to finish, as the Ugandan ladies outclassed every opponent on their way to the crown. 

The emphatic win capped an unbeaten run that firmly established them as Africa’s best.

Star player Rukia Naiga was in sensational form, winning both the Singles title and the MVP award.

Her precision and composure led Uganda’s charge, while teammate Amina Faith Nganda added to the glory by finishing third in the singles.

The triumph underlines Uganda’s rise as a continental powerhouse and highlights the rapid growth of pool in the country.

In the men’s final, South Africa edged Uganda in a tense 11–10 thriller.

Locked at 10–10, the contest went down to the last frame, where South Africa held their nerve to claim the title.

Though narrowly beaten, the Ugandan men earned widespread praise for their resilience and skill in one of the most dramatic matches of the tournament.
