With the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cup in Semifinals round, the venue to host the final, Hamz Stadium Nakivubo, has been inspected in preparations for the final on November 1.
With 3 weeks to the due time, tickets are set to go on market after price unveiling.
Minister of Youth, Sports and Arts, Robert Sserwanga, led the organizing committee of the Masaza Cup tournament (MCOC) during the visit to Nakivubo.
Hamz Stadium Nakivubo Manager Rodgers Mulindwa and the stadium management committee welcomed officials from Mengo in the Kingdom of Buganda.
Mulindwa told the Minister at the meeting that the stadium is ready for the public and has the capacity to honor the event like the Masaza Cup final.
In his submission he said, “This is the perfect stadium to host the Masaza Cup final; from ordinary fans to VVIPs, all are guaranteed a beautiful experience.
Ordinary people will be like equal to VIPs of other stadiums because our seats are well spaced, for the VIPs we handle them in a special way since we have a good number of VIP Boxes and Also, this stadium is sate with modern screens of which fans can see very well, though they are present at the game venue.”
“Minister Sserwanga expressed appreciation to the stadium management and announced the ticketing arrangements, ‘We visited the stadium to further preparations for the Masaza Cup final, which will be held on November 1st.
All the preparations are in good shape, and the tickets will go on sale on October 8th.'”
“This time, tickets will be sold online, and from October 8th to 20th, ordinary tickets will be priced at 25,000/= and VIP tickets at 45,000/=.
While from the 21st to the game day, tickets will be priced at 30,000/= and 50,000/=, respectively.” he Added
Two-time champions Ssingo and three other teams chasing their first trophy, Kyaggwe, Buweekula, and Bugerere are the teams in the semifinals with the first and second legs scheduled for the 12th and 19th, respectively.
