Midfielder Shamirah Nalugya appears ready to prove herself at Dynamo Brest following her exit from FC Minsk.

“Happy to join Dynamo Brest. I am ready to work with the team to achieve the very best this season,” she stated in her social media post.

In this move, Nalugya left Belarus’s second-most successful club in the Vysshaya Women’s Liga to find her footing at Dynamo Brest, a club smaller than FC Minsk.

Nalugya scored seven goals and assisted twelve times in the thirteen league games she played for FC Minsk.

The Edgar’s youth program alumna previously played for Uganda Women’s Super League’s most decorated club, Kawempe Muslims Ladies, and emerging side Kampala Queens before taking her trade to Belarus in mid 2023.

The 25 year old player represents Uganda internationally as part of the Crested Cranes, showcasing her abilities in midfield and forward positions.
