Uganda sealed the crown on Sunday with a commanding 70–48 win over hosts Wales at the Emirates Arena.

From there, Uganda tightened every screw. The second quarter showcased their determination and defensive sharpness, with Aya Gloria and Faridah Kadondi forming a stubborn barrier that repeatedly broke Wales’ rhythm.
Their timely interceptions allowed the mid-court to take charge, stretching Uganda’s lead to 12 goals at halftime.
The She Cranes returned from the break with even more purpose, widening the gap to 15 goals at 54–39.
With momentum on their side, they finished the job in style, powering through the final quarter to seal a confident 22-goal victory.
While the title was a team achievement, individual brilliance stood out. Shooter Mary Nuba delivered another composed performance and earned Player of the Match.
Now Uganda’s She Cranes await to see the World rankings with a target of joining the top 6 inorder to have an automatic place at the upcoming Netball World Cup.
