2026 National Basketball League | Women | Wednesday February 18,

  • Angels Basketball Club 43-57 Miracle Eaglets
  • JKL Lady Dolphins 86-49 Magic Stormers
  • Pearls Queens 50-49 KIU Rangers

The Arnold Katabi coached, Miracle Eaglets bounced back from their loss to Nabisunsa with a solid 57-43 win over Angels on Wednesday night in the National Basketball League at the RezLife court in Lubowa.

Marion Anyanzwa opened the scoring with a three pointer, but Lina Koul Khor quickly responded for Angels.

The first quarter was tight and defensive, with Angels controlling the tempo and limiting the Eaglets to eight points for a 12-8 lead.

Miracle Eaglets regrouped in the second quarter. They moved the ball better, tightened up defensively and held Angels to just six points.

Caroline Nakato found her rhythm during this stretch, leading a decisive run that gave the Eaglets a 12-point advantage at halftime.

The third quarter was evenly contested at 15-15 as Angels tried to fight back, but the Eaglets stayed composed.

Nakato later drained a crucial three-pointer to halt any comeback hopes, while Isabella Namugabo provided steady support to keep the game under control.

Nakato finished with a game-high 17 points and Namugabo added 11. For Angels, Joan Namatovu scored 11, the only player on her side to reach double figures.

Elsewhere, at YMCA, JKL Lady Dolphins defeated Magic Stormers 86-49, while Pearls Queens edged KIU Rangers 50-49 at ABJA Park.
