Victoria Crocs flexed their dominance on a chilly Wednesday night at the Lugogo Indoor Arena, defeating UMU Flames 75-57 in the 2026 National Basketball League.

Chuol Nyout led the charge with a commanding double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Mark Ngobi added 21 points, combining to give the Crocs a decisive edge.

From tip-off, Victoria Crocs dictated the pace, using crisp ball movement and aggressive defense to keep the Flames at bay. However the scoring rate was low with fans twisting heads with transitions but no end product.

Aaron John Eboyu, Erick Komagum, and the rest of the roster provided crucial support, but it was Nyout’s inside presence and Ngobi’s scoring versatility that proved game changing.

UMU Flames struggled to maintain consistency. Brian Rothwell and Agot Agot were the only Flames players to reach double figures, scoring 16 and 14 points respectively.

Despite occasional offensive bursts, they could not match the Crocs’ intensity on both ends of the court.

Earlier at the same venue, UCU Lady Canons defeated KIU Rangers 51-40. Slyvia Nakituuka led the Lady Canons with 11 points, the only double-figure scorer on her team, while Anena Cinderella posted 14 points for KIU Rangers.
