2026 National Basketball League | Men | Wednesday February 18,
- RezLife 75-59 Victoria Crocs
- KCCA Panthers 57-51 JKL Dolphins
- Kampala Rockets 70-52 JT Jaguars
Under the floodlights in Lubowa, RezLife Saints finally opened their home turf in style with young girls making their voices heard on the court side with songs and dance.
Playing their first game at the Rez Life Court, the Saints beat Victoria Crocs 75-59 on Wednesday night to make it three wins from three in the 2026 National Basketball League season.
After victories over KCCA Panthers and JT Jaguars, this one felt different. It was about protecting home ground.
The game, scheduled for 9pm, tipped off an hour late but quickly found its rhythm. Rin Tueny Mabor won the opening jump ball and RezLife set the tone.
Otieno Micheal drove in for the first points, while Suka Fadul controlled the boards and picked up an early steal. The Crocs struggled to settle despite Lubangakene Enoch’s effort inside.
RezLife dominated the rebounds and second chances. Otieno and Mabor extended possessions, and by the end of the first quarter with Maiba Kenga Joshua also contributing, the Saints led 19-12.
The second quarter was tighter. Turnovers and a few defensive lapses allowed Victoria Crocs to edge the period 22-20. For a moment, the game threatened to shift.
RezLife stayed calm. In the third quarter, they pulled away. Fadul completed a strong two point play before Otieno took control with consecutive layups and a free throw to stretch the lead to 16. The Saints had regained control.
Victoria Crocs made one last push in the fourth quarter. Mark Ngobi attacked the rim to cut the gap to 10, but missed chances hurt them again.
With three minutes left, Duot Ajang’s layup restored a 16-point cushion and ended any hopes of a comeback. RezLife closed out the game confidently, winning the final quarter 20-15.
Otieno Micheal led the Saints with 19 points, while Edrine Ekau added 13 in a balanced team display. For the Crocs, Ngobi (14) and Chuol Nyout (13) were the only players in double figures.
