While Nam Blazers were earning their tenth win of the season, Power were suffering defeat for the seventh time this season.
The 2022 National Basketball League finalists beat Power 58-46 on Friday night at the Lugogo Indoor Arena.
Nam Blazers made a blistering start and led 10-1 early in the first quarter, but Power rallied back to avoid a shaming margin.
The Blazers were powered by Geoffrey Soro who led with a game high 16 points to collect the man of the match award.
Youngster Wadaya Blair then supplemented with an impressive 12 points on a night to remember.
Meanwhile, in a losing effort, Elvis Mpeti had 12 points and nine rebounds while Kikomba Ozias managed 13 rebounds for Po wer.
Ceaser Adoke also made his debut for Power since joining from UCU Canons.
