- Ndejje 4-0 Kumi
- Victoria 1-2 Makerere
Ndejje University put on a dominant display as they thrashed Kumi University 4-0 in Bombo on Friday evening to seal the last available quarterfinal spot in the Pepsi University Football League.
The emphatic victory ensured that Ndejje topped Group B with 12 points, booking their place in the knockout stage in style.

From the first whistle, Ndejje showed their intent, and it didn’t take long for them to break the deadlock. In the 20th minute, Ssemakula Frank struck from close range, capitalizing on a defensive lapse to put the hosts ahead.
Twelve minutes later, Ndejje doubled their lead through Musinguzi Davis, who curled a beautiful shot into the bottom right corner, leaving the Kumi goalkeeper with no chance. With a 2-0 lead before halftime, Ndejje were in full control of the match.
Kumi University struggled to create clear chances, and as the game neared its end, Ndejje added two more goals to put the result beyond doubt.
Three minutes from time, Okello James fired in a powerful shot to make it 3-0, further demoralizing the visitors.
Then, in the 89th minute, Okello completed his brace, reacting quickest to a rebound after Shem’s strike was parried away by goalkeeper David Ajo. His second goal sealed a commanding 4-0 victory for the home side.
With this win, Ndejje finished atop Group B with 12 points, one point ahead of Makerere University, who also won their game against Victoria University 2-1 at the Hamz Stadium in Nakivubo.
Goals from Nicholas Ddungu and Express left-back Kevin Ssekimbegga gave Makerere the victory, despite a consolation goal from Victoria University’s Ssekandi Hassan.
