Recently, CAF made it mandatory to have a women’s club for all clubs that will compete in their engagements and FUFA went on to make the same decision for all Startimes Uganda Premier League clubs.

NEC FC have had a fair start in topflight, winning two and losing only one game in their three opening games of Startimes Uganda Premier League. They’re currently 6th on the table, 3 points behind table leaders.
Goldstar Ladies was pitted in Elizabeth Group alongside She Corporate FC, Tooro Queens FC, Dynamic Jjeza, Isra Soccer Academy, She Geme and Tagy HS WFC.
The 2023/24 FUFA Women Elite League season will kick off on Saturday, 21st October and Goldstar Ladies FC will start the campaign at home against Tagy HS WFC at Ggangu Play Ground-Busabala.
