NEC FC Unveil Goalkeeper Samson Kirya

Newly promoted side NEC FC have unveiled goalkeeper Samson Kirya from Uganda Premier League side Wakiso Giants FC.

The shot stopper has signed a two-year employment contract to end his two seasons at Wakiso Giants.

Kirya is one of the top rated goalkeepers in the country. During the 2017/18 league season, Kirya played 20 games, keeping an astonishing 13 clean sheets.

His addition is a clear sign of a club that wants to achieve big in topflight football.

Yesterday, NEC FC confirmed the signing of former KCCA FC striker Brian Kayanja on a two year contract.

NEC already unveiled Ronald Owiny Ogenga from Calvary FC, John Paul Acire from Blacks Power, midfielder Allan Mugalu from Arua Hill, Goalkeeper Maganda Ismael from Proline, Balyejusa Isaac from Luweero United.

The club also unveiled Hussein Mbalangu as the Head Coach and he will be assisted by Dudu Bosco.

Kirya has previous featured for Entebbe FC, Wakiso Giants, SC Villa, among others.
