Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) has bolstered its squad for the upcoming season with the signing of 27-year-old striker Nelson Ssenkatuka on a two-year contract from Bright Stars FC.
Known for his clinical finishing, pace, and physical presence, Ssenkatuka is a versatile player capable of operating anywhere across the frontline. His impressive career includes 17 caps for the Ugandan national team over the past decade.
Ssenkatuka’s professional journey began in 2015 with KCCA FC, and since then, he has netted 79 league goals in 164 matches. Before his move to URA FC, he had two stints with Bright Stars FC. His career also features spells with Maghreb Tetouan, Proline FC, and KCCA. In his youth, he played for FC Erith & Belvedere in England and Hope Doves.
Despite a challenging 2024-2025 season with Bright Stars FC, where he scored 5 goals in 29 games, Ssenkatuka had a strong performance the previous season, netting 13 goals in 29 games.
