Nemostars Volleyball Club is set to represent Uganda at the prestigious Africa Club Championship (ACC) in Misrata, Libya, from April 17th to 30th, 2025.
This continental tournament will feature top volleyball clubs from across Africa, and Nemostars is honoured to compete on this grand stage.
Nemostars has represented Uganda on the continent on Seven Occasions (2013 – Libya), (2014, 2015 and 2021 -Tunisia) and (2016, 2018 & 2019 – Egypt) going on to finish only twice in the top 10.
As one of Uganda’s leading volleyball teams, Nemostars has demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication, earning them a spot at the ACC.
Their participation is a significant milestone, not only for the club but also for Ugandan volleyball, as it provides an opportunity to showcase the country’s growing prominence in the sport.
To facilitate their participation, Nemostars is launching a fundraising drive to secure $50,000.
The funds will cover travel, accommodation, and other essential expenses needed to ensure the team competes at the highest level.
The club is calling on sponsors, partners, and sports enthusiasts to support their journey and contribute to the development of Ugandan volleyball.
