Ngoonge defeated Nsenene 9-8 on penalties on Thursday evening to reach the final of the 2023 Bika By’abaganda tournament.
The two teams had drawn 1-1 in both legs of the semifinal, meaning the tie had to be decided by penalties.
Ngoonge goalkeeper Michael Lutaaya saved two penalties in the shootout, while his counterpart, Hassan Ssebunya, saved one.
Ngoonge will face Mbogo in the final, which will be played on August 26 at Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Mbogo reached the final after thrashing Omutima Omusagi 6-1 on aggregate.
The final will be graced by His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
