After seven qualifying stops across the country, the Mountain Dew UG 3X3 Series comes to a conclusion as the Grand Finale heads to the Lugogo Hockey Grounds this Saturday 7th December.
Games will start as early as 8am.
139 teams participated across the seven stops with 94 men’s teams and 39 women’s teams.
“The countrywide stops unearthed young talents which are going to add colour to Uganda’s basketball,” Elizabeth Akol, UG3x3 Tournament Coordinator noted.
And 12 men’s and 8 ladies’ teams qualified for the Grand Finale where the winning team in each category will walk away with UGX 2,000,000/- and each RunnerUp 1,000,000/-.
“A total of 12 men teams and eight female sides will be entertaining us on Saturday. All is set for the fans to have a fantastic outing and teams to write history,” Samuel Akwech, UG3x3 Tournament Director told Nnalubaale Sports.
Draws for the Pools for this Saturday’s showdown were conducted in Thursday and the results were as follows:
