The Ntare Lions League held their 13th season grand finale at Pitstop Lounge and Rugby Grounds in Jinja City on Saturday.
The main event of the day had SC Kalele (Class of 2010-2015) defeat their big boys TY Omujuma (Class of 2009 – 2014) 1-0.
The all important goal was scored by Aaron Ndahura in the first half and SC kalele held on to lift the prestious Shield for the first time.
Still, on the green, there were other games such as; Ntare Lions League Select up against Ntare Old Boys Association and one between FC Bweras (Bweranyangi Girls Old Girls) and MH Holistics of the Mary Hill High School Old Girls Association.
The other action had placement matches in the morning session. All this happened after a visit to Balitwegomba School of the Blind in line with the league’s corporate social responsibility efforts.
Off the pitch however, it was an affair of eating life in capital letters as all kinds of booze and bites were in plenty.
“We are so grateful that we had an opportunity to partner with the Ntare Leauge team on this event. It was a successful one with a big crowd,” Doreen Hope Kagoto, the UBL Sales Representative Jinja noted.
All the above ingredients of the special outing were powered by Guinness, Jumia, Nation Media Group, PeakShots, BangiTV, 707 Safaris, and Jibu.
