Ntinda United overturns two goal deficit to remain unbeaten against Mutungo FC

Ntinda United FC fought from two goals down to beat Mutungo FC 3-2 at Luzira Prisons, keeping themselves unbeaten against the Luzira-based Kampala Regional League side.

Following a 0-0 first half, Mutungo FC led the game, played on Wednesday, November 26, 2-0 with Deogratius Adule and Innocent Tumuhimbise scoring in the opening 8 minutes of the second half.

The visitors staged a comeback with Saidi Abubakar Kento reacting quickly with a goal. Nasser Khemis equalized in the 68th minute, and Vitus Obbo scored the winner in the 89th minute to hand Mutungo FC their first loss of the season.

The first win of the season for Ntinda United FC has driven them to ninth position, standing in 12th place with 5 points and a negative 4 goal difference, as they lie behind Black Stars, Lukuli Hearts, and Nsambya SC.

Meanwhile, with a loss, Mutungo FC remained on the safe side with 3 points, in the top nine, counting 8 points after 6 games of the league. 

With Tumuhimbise scoring his fourth of the season, he closed in to sit one goal behind the leading scorer, Hamza Kasumba Ssenseko of Mbogo FC.
