The Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) officials visited and evaluated the progress of the hosts for the upcoming FEASSSA Championship.
The inspection team visited Bukedea Comprehensive and Amus College School to assess their readiness to welcome the FEASSSA inspection team scheduled for March 2024.
The two schools won the bid to host the East Africa Schools Games this year and the areas of focus during the inspection were; security, accommodation, and competition areas among others.

With various stakeholders from the USSSA, local government, and schools on the inspecting team, it was a true reflection of a collaborative effort to ensure the success of the FEASSSA Championship.
Patrick Alfred Okanya, the USSA President Emeritus expressed gratitude to the school proprietors for their financial commitment to the sports facilities.
However, he said that they need to work with the local government and the community to improve access roads and security, plus planning for local vendors who will be selling merchandise.

In response, Luke Emuron, USSSA Executive representing ASSHU, noted that Teso Sub-region is ready to host a successful event come August 2024 because the preparations are almost halfway.
