Veteran Ugandan striker Emmanuel Okwi has joined Rwanda Premier League side Police FC for the 2025/26 season.
Police announced the signing on Friday, bringing in the former Uganda Cranes captain after his one-year contract with AS Kigali ended.
The 32-year-old was Kigaliโs top scorer last season with nine goals, missing the Golden Boot by a whisker and earning a nomination for Best Player of the Season as the club finished third.
Okwi retired from international football in March but remains sharp at club level. He has played for Kiyovu in Rwanda, SC Villa in Uganda, Simba and Yanga in Tanzania, รtoile du Sahel in Tunisia, Ittihad Alexandria in Egypt, SรธnderjyskE in Denmark, and Al-Zawraa in Iraq.
His arrival is expected to strengthen Policeโs attack for the new campaign.
