Perus Nyamwenge and Asinah Kabendela were the brightest stars under the lights at the Indoor Arena on Friday Night as KCCA Leopard defeated the JT Lady Jaguars 65-53 in the battle of wild cats.
It was the third successive win for the Leopards while condemning the Lady Jaguars to their second loss of the campaign.
Perus Nywamwenge scored a team-high 15 points, while Asinah Kabendela recorded 13 points and 8 rebounds to spur the Leopards to victory.
JT Lady Jaguars’ Sarah Ageno recorded a game-high 16 points.

UCU Canons outlasted the DMark Power, winning 69-56 on Friday Night at the Indoor Arena. The Canons were coming back off a massive 82-51 loss to the Titans, while Power suffered 73-38 at the hands of City Oilers.
Peter Sifuma turned on the style for the Canons with 12 points and 9 rebounds, while Kayiira Joel notched a team-high 13 points.
Elvis Ssentongo (17 points, 4 rebounds) and Philip Ameny (16 points, 7 rebounds) led the way for the DMark Power.
