Uganda Boxing Champions League Season Two Finale will see the best fighters in all categories go home with winners’ belts.
The annual event will climax at the UMA show grounds in Lugogo this weekend, 32 bouts are eagerly anticipated on 26 December, Boxing Day.
The local boxing governing body, Uganda Boxing Federation, and its partners today revealed eight championship belts at Lugogo in the presence of the same boxers who will box to temporarily own them.
However, the finale on Saturday will see 25 belts distributed; 13 to men and 12 to women determined by accumulated points from the 2023 Boxing Champions League outings.
According to boxing president Moses Muhangi, in case of ties, winners will be decided by first head-to-head, and then a panel of five judges.
