The 2023 Uganda Boxing Federation calendar’s curtains went down with the Uganda Boxing Champions League season 2 Finale.
The main fight had Muzamir ‘Take Over’ Ssemuddu register a 5-0 unanimous win over Broline ‘Stylist’ Kimbugwe inside UMA Show Ground, Lugogo on 26th December 2023.
In front of a big crowd having celebrities and socialites in attendance too, the new national Light Middleweight Elite champion Ssemuddu took home the belt and a golden glove.
Away from the Mr. Take Over, the only knockout of the night came from national team captain Joshua Tukamuhebwa who finished off Paul Raskara in the second round to win the Lightwelter Elite belt.
The other big fights and title deciders of the night had Kasim Mutungi defeat Jonah Kyobe, Yusuf Nkobeza beat Alfred Ojok while Arafat Kibirige overpowered Adam Jamidali.
In the female category, the titles were already decided as the winners were simply paraded and crowned as the new queens of their respective categories.
