UCU Lady Canons were crowned champions of the Women National Basketball League after overcoming defending champions JKL Lady Dolphins at Lugogo Indoor Arena.
In an epic decider, the Lady Canons emerged 75-67 victors to clinch the best of seven series 4-3.
The triumph means that UCU Lady Canons have now won the Women’s title for a record extending eighth time, while defunct Lady Bucks on six remain the closest.
