The 2023 Plascon-painted Masaza Cup started with 18 counties (read Masaza) pitted in three groups fighting for eight quarterfinal slots.
With 6 counties in each group, the top two are destined for automatic qualification with the best two from the third placed counties joining them.
As you read this, Ssingo, Buweekula, Mawokota, and Gomba are already safely through to the last eight.
Only Bugerere and Kkooki can no longer progress to the next level but the remaining 12 do have a chance on Sunday.
