As the Men’s division of the National Basketball League came to a conclusion on Sunday, the bouts for the quarter-final playoffs were confirmed.
Nam Blazers, who finished the regular season at the summit, will take on eigth-placed KCCA Panthers in the last eight.
In the other matchup, UCU Canons, who on Sunday beat Ndejje University Angels 89-76 to finish second, will take on JKL Dolphins who finished seventh.
Meanwhile, seven-time champions City Oilers, who finished third on the log, will take on sixth-placed UPDF Tomahawks.
Fourth placed KIU Titans and Power who clinched fifth will as well lock horns in the final quarterfinal game.
It is important to note that it will be a Best of Three at this stage. A team will advance to the semis after two victories.
SEMI-FINALS
The victor between the Nam Blazers and KCCA Panthers will take on one of KIU Titans or Power.
In the other lockup, one of UCU Canons and UPDF Tomahawks will take on the winner between City Oilers and JKL Dolphins.
At this stage, it will a Best of Five contest and the team that registers three victories first will advance to the final which will be a Best of Seven series.
