Mawanda expressed strong confidence in the new signings added to the roster this season.
Key additions include; forward Sydney Mudegu Chasimba formerly of Nkumba Marines, Goddie Nasser (aka Kikiri) a returnee to the team after a three-year hiatus.
On the technical side, Jeff Omondi was appointed as the new Head Coach and the entire burden of bringing back the glory days is on his shoulders.
Other notable players to watch include; Daniel Emong (formerly of Our Saviour and UPDF), Deo Mukwaya (Our Saviour), and Sammie Manguru (UMU Flames), who is expected to be a significant addition to the squad. Former Ndejje point guard Mahad Nyanzi has also joined the ‘New Power Project.’
