Buhimba United Saints FC, a newly promoted team in the Uganda Premier League, has announced the signing of experienced goalkeeping coach Ramadhan Kato. Kato returns to the top flight of Ugandan football after signing a two-year contract, marking his first major role since leaving Bright Stars FC.
With over 11 years of experience from clubs like Luweero United, Kira United FC, Booma FC, and Edgar’s FC, Kato brings a wealth of expertise to the Saints. His impressive track record includes time with the Kyadondo Ssaza team, a role he currently holds during the football off-season.
Buhimba United Saints FC expressed confidence in their new coach, stating they believe his skills and experience will be crucial in developing their goalkeepers. Kato, in his first club interview, shared his excitement, saying, “I’m happy to join Buhimba United Saints FC, and I’m aiming to achieve more with the club.”
As a new goalkeeping coach, Ramadhan is tasked to focus on developing the skills and techniques of goalkeepers at Buhimba United Saints FC in order to see the club achieve its goals in the Uganda Premier League.
